Crusador was bred out of Holstein family (stam) 162 which is considered to be one of the best breeding nest in Holstein.
Four jumpers started at the Olympic Games in Athens which belong to this important family: Canturo, Coster, Sapphire and Waterford Crystal.
Originally bought by Team Nijhof from The Netherlands at the Holstein´s stallion approval Crusador was sent as a young horse to France where he partecipated with success at the french Championship for young horses in Fontainbleau as a 4,5 and 6 years old horse.
At the age of 6 Crusador was sold to England where he continued his career and improved up to 1.45m level and ended 6th at the grade B British Championship.
In 2011 a son of Crusador, Usador du Rouet , approved stallion in France, was sold as a 3 years old as the top price of the auction “Fences” for the amount of € 120.000!
At the same auction in 2012 three offsprings of Crusador were selected and well sold.
Crusador’s offspring distinguish themselves for their beautiful model, scope, quality on the jump and incredible ride ability.
